Excell Auto was one of the 50 proud sponsors of the Place of Hope 4th Annual Angel Mom’s Brunch and Benefit. Place of Hope is a children’s organization that provides foster care and places hope, healing children and families victims of abuse and neglect in our region. This year’s Brunch and Benefit guest speaker, Leigh Anne Tuohy, shared her family’s adoption journey with Super Bowl-winning NFL player Michael Oher. Excell Auto group was the proud Defender Sponsor of the event. 16th Annual Men With Caring Hearts Honoree Reception

Date: March 16, 2017 Location: Excell Auto Group Main Event: 16th Annual Men with Caring Hearts Awards Luncheon Men with Caring Hearts is an event where all the local Non-profit organizations have the opportunity to recognize and honor the most outstanding male volunteers in the community. Excell Auto owners Scott and Kristen Zankl have been involved with Florence Fuller Child Development Centers for a long time, sponsoring events like Wee Dream Ball and opening its business doors to host the Men with Caring Hearts honoree reception for the past two years. This year we are very proud to announce that Scott Zankl is Florence Fuller’s nominee. We were honored to have all the nominees at our venue for a cocktail reception, and we look forward to the awards luncheon. To answer this question, we must first bring attention to the changes that engines have had over the previous decade. Many automakers (Mercedes and the M156 6.2 V8 anyone?) have moved away from the loud and powerful N/A engines in favor of the more efficient (and often faster) turbo engines. The Ferrari 488 GTB will have a direct injected twin-turbo V8 instead of the 4.5 liter V8 of the 458 Italia.
